Client: GLA Group (GLA, Transport for London - TfL - London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority - LFEPA - Metropolitan Police Authority and Service and the London Development Agency - LDA - ).

Assignment: To analyse the budgets of the GLA and the group's functional bodies from the year 2000 through to 2007, identify trends and issues and use this information to inform the budget committee and help them formulate questions to challenge the 2008/2009 budget submission by the Mayor.

Outcome: An informed analysis resulting in the identification of economic trends and challenges facing the GLA and its functional bodies; a set of tools for budget analysis that can be used year on year; the identification of areas for the budget committee to probe concerning the Mayor's budget submission.

Client: Henley Management College

Assignment: To develop and deliver a workshop in support of a European initiative to develop an e-learning programme for Small and Medium sized businesses (SMEs) in France, Norway, Denmark, Spain and the UK.

Outcome: A successful knowledge sharing and management programme based on blended-learning techniques. The programme was rolled out across Europe.

Client: Major public service broadcaster

Assignment: To develop and deliver an assessment of the effectiveness of their online learning programmes aimed at educating adults in the use of ICT. The work involved assessing the effectiveness of the website and resources, interviewing users and providing comparisons with leading practice.

Outcome: A number of key improvements to the programme both in its content and the way in which it was delivered - overall contributing to the success of the programme.

 

Client: A major European automobile manufacturer

Assignment: To assess and further develop their in-house technology learning and development programmes and the way in which they engage in global collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Outcome: A number of improvements in the operation of their in-house programmes, leading to faster development of people's ICT skills and productive deployment of ICT skills across the group.
